Whether driving in traffic or walking through an open field, I notice my surroundings and consider them not only as transient experience, but as invitations for paintings. I revisit the place I find visually powerful, or I reconstruct it from memory in the studio. I trust in the process of painting. In this mindset, the paintings emerge. I hope you enjoy my work!
